Insulated distal urethral duplication: A rare urinary system anomaly
Aim:Urethral duplication is a rare congenital urinary system anomaly. Duplications are complete or incomplete. Other congenital urinary anomalies were determined such as bladder duplication, extrofia vesical, epispadias, hypospadias with uratral duplication. The embriogenesis of duplication is unknown. It’s usually sporadic.
Case report: Eight years old male patient with double meatus at glans penis is presented. The right urethra can be catheterised only 30 mm. The left urathra was normal. Urinary ultrasonography and voiding cystourethrography of the patient were also normal. The incomplete duplicate urethra which didn’t have link with anywhere was separated from normal urethra and glans, then it was excised totally.
Conclusion: The patient hasn't problem and the cosmetic of glans is successful.The patients with urethral duplication must be evaluated for other concomitant urinary system anomalies and surgery must be performed with considering urinary system function.
İzole distal üretra duplikasyonu: Nadir bir üriner sistem anomalisi
Giriş:Üretra duplikasyonu nadir rastlanılan bir konjenital üriner sistem anomalisidir. Komplet olabileceği gibi inkomplet duplikasyonlarda izlenebilir. Beraberinde mesane duplikasyonu, mesane ekstrofisi, epispadias, hipospadias gibi başka konjenital üriner anomaliler de görülebilir. Embriyogenezisi tam olarak aydınlatılamamıştır. Genellikle sporadiktir.
Olgu Sunumu:Glans peniste çift meatus nedeniyle başvuran 8 yaşındaki erkek olgu sunulmuştur. Muayenesinde sağdaki üretra kateterize edildiğinde, kateterin yaklaşık 30 mm ilerlediği görüldü. Soldaki üretra olağandı. Üriner sistem ultrasonografisi ve işeme sistoüretrografisinde patoloji saptanmadı. Herhangi bir yere açılmayan ve kör olarak sonlanan inkomplet duplike üretra, normal üretra ve glanstan serbestleştirilerek tamamen eksize edildi. İzleminde herhangi bir sorunu olmadı. Kozmetiği de oldukça iyiydi.
Sonuç:Üretral duplikasyonlu hastalar, eşlik edebilecek üriner sistem anomalileri açısından dikkatlice değerlendirilmeli, cerrahi tedavileri üriner sistem fonksiyonları gözönüne alınarak yapılmalıdır.
